Established in June 2024, the GIAMBO Foundation builds on the ten-year experience of the Collezione Ramo and the Belleville creative writing school – promoters of the Milano Drawing Week and of the 2084 literary festival respectively – and carries it over into the world of the Third sector.
Giambo is a no-profit organization promoting the advancement of local communities and the larger society through culture and the arts.
It is committed to the idea of human progress, conceived not as mere material growth but as a collective striving towards the building of a positive, peaceful and supportive social environment. GIAMBO pursues its aims through the fostering of various forms of cultural expression and research, with a particular focus on the furthering of critical thinking.
The Foundation’s mission is carried out via the implementation of socially significant culture and art-based, recreational and publishing initiatives – including those aimed at the dissemination of knowledge in the fields of science and the humanities.
